Data controller

Data we process

• Identity and contact: your name, company name, phone number and email address.
• Customer transactions: quotes, orders, correspondence and payment records (amount, date, payment number).
• Billing: billing address and tax number; a Turkish ID number where required for an invoice.
• Site content: the text, images and logos you give us to publish on your site.
• Security: IP address, date and time and browser details in server logs.

Your card details are processed by the payment institution PayTR. We never see or store your card number.

Purposes

• Preparing quotes, forming the agreement and providing the service
• Taking payment and issuing invoices
• Staying in touch with you and giving support
• Meeting tax and commercial law obligations
• Keeping the site and servers secure and fixing errors

Legal grounds

Your data is processed on these grounds in article 5(2) of the KVKK: forming and performing a contract (c), complying with a legal obligation (ç), establishing, exercising or protecting a right (e), and our legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f).

How data is collected

Electronically: when you contact us by email, WhatsApp or phone, when you pay on the PayTR payment page, and through server logs when you visit our site.

Transfers

• PayTR Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Kuruluşu A.Ş., to take payment
• Our accounting and electronic invoicing providers, for invoicing and record keeping
• Public authorities legally entitled to request it

We also use infrastructure providers abroad: sites are hosted on Hetzner servers in Germany, email runs on Google Workspace, and WhatsApp messages pass through Meta’s infrastructure. These transfers are made within the conditions of article 9 of the KVKK.

Retention

Agreement and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and commercial law (generally 10 years). Server logs are kept for a limited time. After that, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Cookies

artirfs.com uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Only your chosen language is stored in your browser’s local storage, and it is never sent to us.

Client sites we host

On the client websites we host, the site owner is the data controller for its visitors’ data and for the databases, files and email content kept on our servers during moving and hosting. We process that data only to provide hosting and moving, as a processor, and use it for nothing else.

Your rights

Under article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed; to request information about it; to learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad; to ask for corrections; to ask for deletion or destruction under article 7; to ask that corrections and deletions are notified to those third parties; to object to an outcome against you that results solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
